I'm Nat. I am an animator, gardener, cat lady, artist, knitter, Mexican.

I really love mythology, it all started with Greek and yknow once you read up on one kind, you gotta read into them all! I especially love monsters. I also like ancient history. So ancient in fact, the stuff I look into predates writing! Call me your local Neanderthal expert.

I'm born and raised in Arizona and I don't know what else to say beyond the fact that I am a massive nerd. Real odd though, cuz I can't read. Video essays are the books of the 21st Century, baby. Astronomy is pretty sick, I think. I just really love stars. Currently looking into the weird and wild world of western esotericism and mysticism. Religion is just super facsinating to me. These days I'm occupied with the religious movements that arose in America. There are... A Whole Lot. And the fun thing about that is seeing where they have impacted society even today. Seriously, lots of things make sense now. How did we get here, you ask? Well, if you got a couple of days, I can throw in my two cents lmao.

Outside of being a weird little mystic I have been keeping up a garden and several other hobbies such as guitar, knitting, and sourdough bread thanks to the pandemic. Dude, plants are so cool. I really gotta credit the youtuber Crime Pays But Botany Doesn't for my new interest in them. You hang out with them and learn about each species, even the horticultural atrocities we call veggies. It really clears your head. When you're taking care of them and spending time on them you can see things as they are.

I have a couple of things I'm focused on this year, this website being one of them. Another is becoming a wizard with the animation software Blender. And finally, sourdough. Currently I am maintaining a starter I have nicknamed Hermes Trismeyeastus. I think it's the nerdiest thing I've ever done and I am stoked.
